Turnaround Field Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Turnaround Field Coordinator to support operational readiness and shutdown planning of offshore assets slated for decommissioning in Angola. Based in Luanda and Cabinda, you will work on‑site as the primary interface between operations, planning teams and field personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with field teams and operations personnel to plan and prioritize shutdown activities.
• Maintain ownership of the shutdown worklist, manage scope validation and changes.
• Assist in developing job packs and material specifications.
• Support stripping and inspection of equipment, such as insulation removal, to ensure accurate execution.
• Act as the field execution partner under the oversight of the Field Superintendent, managing work‑list items from start to finish.
• Prepare technical information and collaborate with the Work Pack Writer for field instructions and standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in turnaround coordination or shutdown planning and execution.
• Strong understanding of shutdown scope development, prioritisation and field execution support.
• Technical competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, work packs, MTOs and QA/QC documentation.
• Knowledge of process safety, mechanical completion and Pre‑Startup Safety Review (PSSR) requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across disciplines and locations.
• Willingness to work offshore as required and collaborate in a safety‑first culture.
