Subcontracts Supervisor

About the role

KBR is looking for a Subcontracts Supervisor to act as the Project Management Company (PMC) representative for the Lobito Refinery Project in Angola. The role will be based with the PMC team in Angola and will manage the full range of procurement and administration activities related to subcontracting work.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify suppliers, issue requests for proposals, evaluate proposals and maintain subcontract files according to established procedures.
• Oversee and execute all procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting on the project.
• Use specialized knowledge to solve complex problems and direct daily technical or functional support activities.
• Establish priorities, apply judgment to internal and external issues and develop best practices.
• Provide guidance to less‑experienced team members and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and business strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in construction science, engineering, business, finance, supply chain or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of directly related experience in subcontract management or procurement.
• Knowledge of decarbonization, energy transition and sustainability concepts.
