Senior Sales Advisor – Gas Technologies Services

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Sales Advisor for its Gas Technologies Services division. You will drive sales growth across Sub‑Saharan Africa, focusing on rotating equipment such as compressors and turbines, and ensure customer success through technical and commercial expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Sell products, services, parts, solutions and projects within the Sub‑Saharan Africa region.
• Provide technical analysis and adapt sales processes to meet client requirements.
• Manage complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, coordinating with internal teams.
• Develop proposals that consider technical, economic, logistical and financial aspects.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key clients in the business unit.
• Lead commercial and application teams, collaborating with engineering, legal, risk and finance departments.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Portuguese; French is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in energy or industrial sectors.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Proven track record of leading programs and projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time.
