Senior Sales Advisor – Gas Tech Services

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Sales Advisor to drive growth in the rotating‑equipment service market across Sub‑Sahara Africa. You will own the customer‑facing sales process, develop market vision, and lead business development for gas‑technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Sell products, services, parts, solutions, and projects within Sub‑Sahara Africa.
• Provide technical expertise on rotating equipment such as compressors and turbines.
• Conduct technical analysis and adapt sales processes to client conditions.
• Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals that consider technical, economic, logistical, and financial aspects.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key clients in the business unit.
• Coordinate and lead commercial and application teams, collaborating with engineering, legal, risk, and finance departments.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Portuguese; French is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial or energy sectors.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to analyse problems and lead programs or projects.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50 % of the time.
