Senior Permit to Work Coordinator

About the role

Saipem is seeking a Senior Permit to Work Coordinator to support the NGC O&M MMO project in Angola. You will ensure that health, safety and environmental (HSE) plans and procedures are correctly applied during on‑site operations, working on a 28/28 rotation schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal HSE inspections and deliver inductions and training.
• Maintain and update HSE procedures for specific tasks.
• Supervise implementation of HSE procedures and Life Saving Rules on operative sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety risk assessments and prepare Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for operations.
• Promote safe operative techniques and provide effective HSE reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HSE within the oil and gas sector.
• Ability to coach and support other Permit to Work Coordinators.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with workforce and supervision.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of LOTO (Lock‑out/Tag‑out) procedures.
• Expert knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
• In‑depth understanding of HSE procedures in oil and gas environments.
