Remote CMS Developer (Contract/Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Content Management System applications. Working remotely, you will translate design mockups into responsive, secure web experiences while collaborating with designers, content creators, and other developers.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, or Magento.
• Develop custom themes, modules, and plugins from scratch to extend functionality.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and perform performance tuning.
• Set up custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing experience for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, handle backups, updates, and user authentication.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, and tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders.
• Document code and technical decisions for future reference.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of professional software development with a strong focus on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and attention to design detail.
