Project Manager – Large‑Scale Industrial Construction

About the role

PONTICELLI ANGOLA, a subsidiary of the Ponticelli Frères Group, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale industrial construction projects in Angola. The role is offered on a technical support contract and requires full responsibility for health, safety, technical execution, cost control and team coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce the Group’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) policies across the project and promote HSE culture among all stakeholders.
• Guarantee technical standards and quality, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, specifications and applicable standards.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, offshore and commissioning activities.
• Monitor project budget, schedule and contractual milestones; manage invoicing, cost estimates, change orders and claims.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, subcontractors and vendors, ensuring effective communication and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas project management, including at least 4 years on EPC projects for an international operator.
• Proven ability to work across multiple disciplines with strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Rigorous, well‑organized, autonomous and capable of handling complex project challenges.

Required skills

• Project management of EPC contracts in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Knowledge of HSSE standards and practices.
• Experience with cost control, scheduling and contract administration.
