Project Manager (Construction)

About the role

Mitrelli is seeking a Project Manager to lead large‑scale construction projects across Africa. You will be the on‑site point of contact, responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain complex engineering and construction schedules for large projects.
• Monitor start‑up actions, track progress, and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, HSE, and quality management.
• Review contractor and supervision team activities to enforce best practices.
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and deviations promptly.
• Coordinate with bidding, contracting, PMO, and procurement teams.
• Manage resources including personnel, materials, equipment, and tools.
• Provide strong leadership and clear communication to all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in large‑scale construction project management.
• Proven experience in contract, financial, and procurement management.
• Background in building or infrastructure projects, preferably from the contractor side.
