Programme Associate – G6 Fixed‑Term Role in Luanda

About the role

The Programme Associate will support the efficiency and effectiveness of UNICEF's office in Luanda by providing comprehensive administrative, financial and programme support. This role ensures smooth implementation of projects and programmes, contributing to better outcomes for children in Angola.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with financial and logistical planning, execution and monitoring of assigned initiatives.
• Coordinate partnership management functions, including risk assessments, due diligence and compliance checks.
• Support funding authorisation processes and ensure timely submission of Certificate of Expenditures (FACE) requests.
• Monitor prompt liquidation of Direct Cash Transfers (DCTs) and track related data.
• Collect, analyse and report qualitative and quantitative programme data, generating dashboards and presentations for decision‑making.
• Manage grant and budget monitoring using relevant systems, notably SAP, and ensure accurate utilisation reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme monitoring, data analysis and reporting within an international development or humanitarian context.
• Familiarity with grant management, budget tracking and financial compliance procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with programme managers, partners and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
