About the role

The Process Sales Engineer will drive market share and revenue growth for SLB’s products and services within assigned accounts in Angola. Leveraging deep technical knowledge of oil, water and gas treatment processes, the role builds strong customer relationships and matches client needs with appropriate solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Define sales strategy and SLB value proposition for each opportunity.
  • Follow SLB sales processes, stage‑gate system and prepare proposals.
  • Identify, qualify and manage sales leads and opportunities.
  • Plan client calls and conduct regular on‑site visits to ensure coverage of assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with management to set sales goals and coordinate plans for existing and new products.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of competitive products and market trends.
  • Support marketing strategy and contribute to multi‑business‑line activities.
  • Monitor pricing structures, recommend adjustments and support receivables management.
  • Attend training to stay current on key technologies and competitor practices.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering (or related field).
  • 10–15 years of experience in operations and sales within the oil & gas sector.
  • Understanding of oil production, produced water, sea water and gas treatment technologies for on‑shore facilities.
  • Proven ability to manage market situations, client relationships and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in opportunity management, customer relationship management and marketing of technical solutions.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.
  • Prior sales experience in a reputable oil & gas organization.
