Offshore ICSS/PLC Supervisor

About the role

The Offshore ICSS/PLC Supervisor is a full‑time, on‑site position based on offshore installations in Angola. You will lead the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to ensure safe and efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute interventions on automation and control systems.
• Supervise technicians and contractors, guaranteeing compliance with safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and update documentation, maintenance records and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with offshore operations, maintenance and HSE teams to support continuous improvement.
• Assist in commissioning, upgrade projects and other technical initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in ICSS and PLC configuration, operation and troubleshooting.
• Solid background in industrial automation and process control within oil, gas or energy sectors.
• Proven experience supervising multidisciplinary technical teams in offshore or industrial environments.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards and offshore safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, control logic diagrams and equipment manuals.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Relevant technical degree or diploma in automation, electrical engineering, instrumentation or related field; offshore certifications are a plus.
• Previous offshore experience, especially in Angola or similar environments, is beneficial.
