Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) & Rigging Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Rigging Inspector to ensure the integrity and safety of materials, welds, structures, and lifting equipment on on‑shore and off‑shore projects. The role involves performing inspections, interpreting standards, and coordinating with engineering and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct NDT inspections using Visual Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing and Radiographic Testing as required.
• Review project specifications, drawings, procedures and inspection test plans, and issue detailed inspection reports.
• Maintain calibration and traceability of NDT equipment and ensure compliance with ASME, API, AWS, ISO and client standards.
• Inspect lifting and rigging gear—including wire ropes, shackles, slings, hooks, chain blocks and spreader beams—and verify certification status.
• Review lifting plans, risk assessments and method statements, witness load testing and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in quality audits, HSE meetings and safety inspections, and support project engineers and QA/QC managers.

Required profile

• NDT Level II or III certification (ISO 9712, PCN, ASNT or equivalent).
• Certified Rigging Inspector (LEEA or equivalent).
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, offshore or industrial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.
