NLP Data Annotator

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented NLP Data Annotator to support the development of cutting‑edge natural language processing systems. Working remotely, you will label, classify and evaluate text and speech data to help improve AI models such as chatbots, search engines and language understanding tools.

Key responsibilities

• Read and analyse text or speech data following detailed annotation guidelines.
• Perform tasks including sentiment labeling, intent classification, entity tagging and text categorisation.
• Maintain high accuracy and consistency while following annotation instructions.
• Conduct quality checks, resolve annotation discrepancies and meet productivity targets.
• Provide feedback to continuously improve annotation processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, English, Communications, Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Strong command of written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience with large language model (LLM) training datasets.
• Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, XML and CSV.
• Understanding of evaluation metrics such as precision, recall and F1‑score.
