Maintenance Engineer

About the role
Saipem is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join an on‑shore project in Angola. The role supports the Lead Maintenance Engineer in delivering technical tasks that meet contractual requirements and project schedules, while ensuring safety and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Execute assigned technical tasks and support the Lead Maintenance Engineer in client liaison.
- Review project technical documentation against contractual obligations.
- Prepare and update the maintenance engineering execution plan.
- Collect and process design data to build a comprehensive plant asset register for CMMS implementation.
- Develop maintenance strategies, procedures, and inspection programs based on OEM data, RCM and RBI analyses.
- Support plant design and layout to ensure accessibility and maintainability.
Required profile
- Proficiency in English (additional languages as required by the project).
- Experience in maintenance engineering within large industrial or energy projects.
- Ability to work on‑site in a demanding environment and adhere to safety standards.
Required skills
- CMMS implementation and asset database management.
- Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology.
- Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and reliability analysis.
