Lifting Supervisor – Training & Operations

About the role

The Lifting Supervisor will lead all lifting activities on an onshore site in Angola, ensuring they are performed safely and in line with approved lifting plans, HSE standards and company procedures. The role places a strong emphasis on training and mentoring the onshore team, transferring valuable offshore expertise to improve safety and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site.
• Verify compliance with lifting plans, HSE standards and internal procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety measures during lifts.
• Develop and deliver training programmes for onshore personnel.
• Mentor team members, sharing offshore best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of lifting activities and incidents.

Required profile

• Angolan citizenship (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of offshore lifting experience.
• OGUK certification and valid lifting certificates.
• CPLO or Offshore Deck Leader qualification.
• BOSIET certification.
• Proven experience in training and mentoring teams.
