Lead Planner/Scheduler

About the role

KBR is providing project management services covering engineering and procurement for its client Sonangol's multi-billion-dollar Lobito Refinery project in Angola. KBR is looking for a Lead Planner/Scheduler to deliver planning and scheduling services for this project, working closely with project team members. The position requires mobilization to Lobito, Angola.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with KBR and client project personnel to develop and control planner/scheduler systems and processes
• Take part in developing the project's planning and scheduling strategy within the Project Controls and project execution plans
• Support forecasts and disbursements through schedule analysis

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, business management or a related field, or 18+ years of experience in planning and scheduling in lieu of formal education
• 10+ years of progressive experience in planning and scheduling
• Proven ability to work in diverse, multi-company arrangements on large, complex projects
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 CPM
• Experience applying earned value measurement
