Impact and Evidence Coordinator

About the role

The Impact and Evidence Coordinator will lead monitoring, evaluation and data management activities to demonstrate the effectiveness of programmes aimed at vulnerable children. Working within a global humanitarian organization, the role ensures data‑driven decision‑making, compliance with donor requirements and the generation of evidence for learning and advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain qualitative and quantitative data management systems; collect, consolidate, analyse and report programme data.
• Support project start‑up with M&E frameworks, tools and reporting requirements; oversee baseline studies, assessments and evaluations.
• Serve as the focal point for programme quality and compliance, conducting donor report reviews and leading performance reviews with Operations and Finance.
• Establish knowledge‑management repositories, maintain project records and promote learning based on evaluation findings.
• Assist resource mobilisation by developing M&E frameworks for proposals, providing impact evidence for donors and crafting evidence‑based “power claims”.
• Support partners through mapping, technical assistance on M&E and reporting, and present impact evidence to stakeholders.
• Build evidence on faith‑based development approaches and strengthen church partners’ capacity for impact tracking.

Required profile

• University degree or professional qualification in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Development Studies, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Significant experience in field‑based M&E, data analysis and donor reporting within the humanitarian or development sector.
