Field Technical Analyst – Early Careers

About the role

As a Field Technical Analyst in SLB’s Early Careers program, you will bring geological expertise to on‑site teams, helping them deliver reliable well services. You will work directly on wells, creating formation evaluation logs, interpreting cuttings, and monitoring well conditions while receiving extensive hands‑on training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑ and post‑job technical support, including risk analysis for field colleagues.
• Assist in planning, executing, and debriefing field jobs.
• Prepare detailed wellsite reports and documentation.
• Understand rig components and the role of SLB product lines in the industry.
• Continuously identify and apply best practices to improve field operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geological Applied Sciences or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong logical thinking with attention to detail.
• Motivation to develop technical skills and grow within the company.
