Field Specialist – LWD/DD Services

About the role

Join Baker Hughes’ regional Drilling Services team as a Field Specialist focused on Logging‑While‑Drilling (LWD) and directional drilling services. You will work under direct supervision to learn and execute well‑plan reading, drilling dynamics modeling, and basic maintenance at wellsites while supporting customers across the energy value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and operate logging‑while‑drilling and directional drilling tools and services under supervision.
• Read and analyze well plans, execute directional drilling operations, and perform basic wellsite maintenance.
• Carry out all tasks safely in accordance with work instructions and Baker Hughes HSE policies.
• Execute additional duties assigned by supervisors and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.

Required profile

• Technical degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in LWD operations.
• General knowledge of basic engineering principles with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization and travel to rig sites, customer facilities, and training events.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
