Electrical Maintenance Planning Engineer

About the role
SPIE Global Services Energy is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Planning Engineer to support its operations in Angola. The role focuses on reviewing maintenance plans, preparing detailed work orders, and ensuring all electrical activities are ready for safe execution.
Key responsibilities
- Review electrical maintenance plans, backlogs, statutory inspections, and corrective work orders to identify planning needs.
- Prepare and update electrical work orders in the CMMS/ERP system, including task steps, isolations, lockout/tagout, manpower, tools, consumables, spare parts, acceptance criteria, and close‑out requirements.
- Develop work packs for generators, switchboards, MCCs, UPS systems, battery systems, transformers, motors, lighting, distribution, heat tracing, Ex equipment, and related auxiliaries.
- Validate and register electrical spare parts, consumables, fuses, breakers, cables, glands, terminals, relays, meters, batteries, test equipment, calibration needs, and special tools.
- Support material master registration, BOM improvement, and ensure clear technical descriptions and OEM references.
- Coordinate procurement follow‑up, vendor documentation, inspection, certification, and warehouse verification for electrical materials and tools.
- Interface with operations, electrical supervisors, HSE, procurement, logistics, vendors, OEMs, and offshore teams to guarantee execution readiness.
Required profile
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance planning and work‑pack creation.
- Familiarity with CMMS/ERP systems and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Ability to manage spare‑parts inventories, material master data, and procurement processes.
- Strong coordination skills with cross‑functional teams including operations, HSE, and logistics.
