Early Careers - Geologist

About the role

As a Geologist in SLB’s Geoscience and Petrotechnical teams, you will blend earth‑science knowledge with the latest logging technologies to define reservoir architecture and assess hydrocarbon potential. You will work closely with customers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions to complex subsurface challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate as a core member of the geoscience team to evaluate exploration prospects.
• Prepare surface and subsurface maps that illustrate stratigraphic arrangements.
• Generate structural models, including seismic interpretation, geological interpretation, rock‑property analysis, mapping, and creation of structural frameworks in time‑depth conversion.
• Perform facies modelling to support reservoir characterization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Geology.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills with the ability to present factual information clearly.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for assignments.
• Adaptability to work in varied conditions and locations.
