Dimensional Control Lead – Angola (Local Candidates Only)

About the role

The Dimensional Control Lead is responsible for delivering precise offshore survey measurements using advanced surveying techniques. The role works closely with regional Operations Managers, Project Managers and client representatives to ensure surveys meet technical specifications while adhering to health, safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys on project sites, including vessel calibration and layout/as‑built surveys.
• Validate measurements against technical drawings, CAD models and client requirements, and approve metrology results.
• Maintain accurate measurement records, calibration logs and generate comprehensive survey reports.
• Identify and resolve measurement discrepancies, recommending corrective actions.
• Recommend, evaluate and adopt new dimensional control technologies.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior dimensional control team members.

Required profile

• Two‑year degree in geomatics or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum three years of dimensional control or topographic survey experience.
• Ability to obtain a valid passport and meet offshore work documentation requirements.
• Fluent English; Portuguese communication skills are a plus.
• Experience working in offshore environments and adhering to HSE programs.
