Data Center & Technical Facilities Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Data Center & Technical Facilities Engineer to join a public digital infrastructure project in Angola for up to sixteen months. Reporting to the client’s technical direction, you will focus on inspection, verification and quality‑control activities rather than direct execution.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and verifications of data centre and critical technical rooms.
• Perform quality‑control checks to ensure compliance with Tier III standards.
• Collaborate with the client’s technical team to report findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Support documentation and verification processes throughout the construction phase.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Registration with the Engineers’ Association.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least three projects involving Tier III data centres or critical technical rooms.
• Fluent English communication skills.
