Communication and Multimedia Internship

About the role

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Angola is seeking a Communication and Multimedia Intern to support its Communications Unit. The internship offers hands‑on experience in promoting UNDP’s visibility, storytelling, and digital engagement across Angola.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and disseminating communication materials that highlight UNDP programmes and impact.
• Support digital engagement activities, including social media content creation and website updates.
• Contribute to advocacy initiatives and strategic communication planning.
• Help produce multimedia content such as videos, graphics, and photo essays.
• Participate in research and data collection for communication projects.

Required profile

• Current graduate or undergraduate student in Communications, Media, Journalism, International Development or related field.
• Strong interest in development issues and the UN system.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
