Chinese‑Speaking Business Development Expert – Luanda

About the role

The Business Development Expert will join DGFF Angola through the CAMEL (China Africa Middle East Link) Program, based in Luanda. The role focuses on expanding trade between China and the Middle East/Africa region by developing and executing business development plans that generate new revenue, increase market share and promote DHL services.

Key responsibilities

• Support the administration of business development plans to achieve customer growth, revenue targets and budgets.
• Identify and assess new market opportunities using market and feasibility studies.
• Initiate contact with prospects, match their needs with DHL’s service portfolio, and prepare proposals.
• Pursue leads, conduct pre‑proposal visits, negotiate terms and close sales.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and non‑buying targets.
• Coordinate customer requests, collaborate with inside sales, and provide competitive intelligence to product management.
• Identify and resolve issues that fall outside defined procedures.

Required profile

• Advanced education and relevant work experience in business development or sales.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision.
• Strong analytical mindset; problems are challenging but not overly complex.
• Fluency in Chinese and English.
