AIC & CFS Consultant – Remote (5 months) for Huila & Cunene

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a qualified consultant to support the implementation of Accelerated Integrated Curriculum (AIC) and Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) interventions in the provinces of Huíla and Cunene, Angola. The role is remote with periodic field missions and will report to the Education Specialist.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical, coordination and monitoring support for AIC and CFS activities in Huíla and Cunene.
• Collaborate closely with the UNICEF Education team and relevant government counterparts.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, data collection tools and monitoring frameworks.
• Support capacity‑building initiatives for local partners and community groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Studies or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing education programmes.
• Fluency in Portuguese is essential.
• Previous experience with the United Nations system and knowledge of the CFS and AIC approaches is an asset.
• Experience working with government counterparts and community engagement is desirable.
