Site HR Specialist

About the role

EDECS is looking for a Site HR Specialist to lead all human‑resources activities at a project site. The role ensures smooth day‑to‑day HR operations, compliance with company policies and local labour regulations, and provides direct support to project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily attendance, track lateness/early departures, and maintain accurate time‑keeping records.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll for project employees and casual labour, resolving any payroll issues.
• Maintain and update employee data in the HR database, recording transfers, deductions and leave information.
• Register, monitor and follow up on all leave requests, business assignments and inter‑project transfers.
• Verify hiring documents, coordinate onboarding and orientation, and manage resignation and exit procedures.
• Administer employee enrollment and updates for social and medical insurance schemes.
• Prepare daily manpower reports, analyse workforce data, and produce periodic reports on hiring, transfers and exits.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfil manpower needs and resolve employee issues on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project‑based HR operations.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
