About the role

Mitrelli is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead proactive recruitment for highly specialised technical and leadership positions within the construction and infrastructure sector. The role focuses on uncovering talent that is not reachable through traditional inbound channels, using investigative sourcing methods and strategic networking.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies for technical and leadership roles across construction, engineering and infrastructure markets.
• Identify and engage passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, professional networks and competitor mapping.
• Build and maintain high‑quality talent pipelines for critical business functions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, conduct competency‑based interviews and present data‑driven shortlists.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from briefing to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring an excellent candidate experience.

• Strong background in technical recruitment within construction or infrastructure.
• Investigative mindset with a proven ability to source hard‑to‑find talent.
• Resilient, commercially minded and highly organised.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment with ambitious hiring targets.
