Senior Regional Manager

About the role

Africell, a pan‑African mobile telecommunications leader, is looking for a Senior Regional Manager to drive growth and operational excellence in Cabinda, Angola. You will act as the company’s ambassador, coordinating sales, distribution, network maintenance and community relations to deliver affordable, fast and secure connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the local distribution team to ensure sufficient voice and data recharge stock, both electronic and physical SIM cards.
• Promote value‑added services such as leased lines, corporate solutions and upcoming innovations to attract high‑value customers.
• Coordinate with the technical team to address network enhancements and routine maintenance, maintaining service quality.
• Increase market share and revenue through tailored brand‑awareness initiatives.
• Ensure products and services meet customer needs, including stock availability and network performance.
• Identify corporate sales opportunities and connect high‑end business accounts to Africell’s advanced network.
• Oversee procurement and logistics in line with Africell Angola’s contracting and purchasing processes.
• Lead regional personnel according to HR policies, manage budgets and reporting with Finance.
• Represent Africell with local community and business leaders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of sales management experience, preferably in telecommunications.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong networking ability and experience building long‑term client relationships.
• Ability to manage large workloads, multitask and meet critical deadlines.
• Team‑player with strong organizational and motivational skills.
• High integrity, professionalism and a passion for excellence.
