Programme Associate – Project Management & Data Analysis

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Programme Associate to support the efficient implementation of projects and programmes in Luanda. The role provides comprehensive administrative, financial and data‑analysis support to ensure smooth operations and informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in financial and logistical planning, execution and monitoring of assigned initiatives.
• Coordinate partnership management processes, including due‑diligence, PSEA, micro‑assessment and spot‑checks.
• Support Funding Authorization and Certificate of Expenditures (FACE) requests to align with work plans and ensure timely processing.
• Monitor liquidation of Direct Cash Transfer (DCT) payments.
• Collect, analyse and report qualitative and quantitative programme data; produce regular dashboards, reports and presentations.
• Apply digital and AI tools to synthesize data for statutory reporting.
• Track budget allocations, expenditures and grant utilisation using SAP; monitor grant expiry and support re‑programming.
• Prepare periodic and ad‑hoc grant management reports for supervisors.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to manage administrative and programme support activities.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience working with partners and coordinating multi‑stakeholder processes.

Required skills

• SAP (grant and budget management module).
