Internal Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Controller to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal controls across our steel manufacturing operations in Angola. The role will work closely with senior leadership to ensure financial integrity, compliance, fraud prevention, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess internal controls across Sales, Collections, Purchases, and Payments.
• Conduct post‑audits, transaction reviews, and control testing.
• Identify control gaps, fraud risks, and process improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and approval matrices.
• Prepare monthly risk and control reports for management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit closure activities.

Required profile

• CA (Inter), CA, MBA Finance, Master’s in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent.
• 5–8+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Finance Controllership, or Risk Management.
• Experience in manufacturing, trading, or high‑volume transactional environments.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or CPA are preferred.
