Finance Controller – Expatriate Position in Angola

About the role

Join the Finance team in Angola as a Finance Controller. You will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of the Group’s monthly financial reporting, monitoring free cash flow, and delivering financial presentations to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, including sales, EBITDA, gross margin, trade working capital and overdue balances.
• Monitor the Group’s free cash flow in close collaboration with the Treasury department.
• Analyse the balance sheet to identify efficiency opportunities in fixed assets, inventories, provisions and other working capital items.
• Control financial performance of regional subsidiaries by entity, customer type and key accounts.
• Develop financial presentations for the Board of Directors, investors and financial institutions.
• Support finance projects such as business plans, mergers, divestments and capitalisation processes.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience at a Big Four accounting firm.
• Strong financial and accounting fundamentals with fluent English (C1) and Spanish.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• PowerPoint presentation creation.
• PowerBI (plus).
