About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to lead day‑to‑day human resources operations in Angola. The role involves supporting internal HR processes, handling employee queries, and ensuring smooth payroll and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily HR operations and support internal HR processes.
• Respond to employee queries and coordinate with departments for quick resolution.
• Handle payroll coordination, staff attendance updates, and basic compliance activities.
• Support hiring activities including job posting, screening, and interview scheduling.
• Maintain employee records and documentation in both digital and physical formats.
• Assist with insurance, workplace incident reporting, and employee welfare formalities.
• Update employee data on required HR portals and support statutory submissions.
• Coordinate training sessions, performance reviews, and basic employee engagement tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of experience in human resources.
• Proven ability to manage HR operations and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, attendance tracking, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in recruitment support, including job posting and interview scheduling.
• Excellent record‑keeping skills for both digital and physical employee files.
• Familiarity with insurance administration, incident reporting, and employee welfare procedures.
• Ability to maintain HR portals and ensure timely statutory submissions.
• Competence in organizing training, performance reviews, and employee engagement activities.
