Business Development Manager – Angola

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the establishment and growth of our operations in Angola. The role will act as the local representative for Mamoru, building relationships with banks, brokers, exchanges and payment processors while developing our foreign‑exchange trading business.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the local legal entity, opening bank, FX broker and exchange accounts, and onboarding payment processors.
• Collaborate with the global operations team to ensure smooth local operations.
• Serve as nominee director of the Angolan entity and handle administrative tasks.
• Develop and expand FX trading services targeting high‑net‑worth individuals, institutional investors, merchants and individual traders.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends, risks and new opportunities in the FX payments industry.
• Build and nurture relationships with banks, brokers, exchanges, merchants and payment processors.

Required profile

• Prior experience in banking or foreign‑exchange environments with solid understanding of trading products and trade life‑cycles.
• National of Angola.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and work independently.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FX trading products and trade life‑cycle.
• Experience with setting up corporate entities and banking relationships.
