Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing, annotating, and improving backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system design outputs. The role bridges software engineering expertise with data annotation to ensure high‑quality training data for artificial‑intelligence models.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows.
• Label datasets that involve REST APIs, GraphQL, and complex backend processes.
• Validate scalability, performance, reliability, and security standards of server‑side implementations.
• Provide structured engineering reasoning and feedback on code quality and logic accuracy.
• Review database queries, authentication mechanisms, and microservice interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Understanding of authentication systems such as OAuth, JWT, and session management.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event‑driven design.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
