NDT Technician – Rope Access (Level 3) – Angolan Nationals

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced NDT Technician with Rope Access Level 3 certification to lead and execute non‑destructive testing activities safely and efficiently. The role involves supervising rope access operations, performing a variety of NDT techniques on static equipment and piping, and delivering detailed inspection reports.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate all rope access activities on site.
• Implement and enforce safety and quality‑control standards for rope access work.
• Perform NDT techniques on static equipment, associated piping, and conduct ad‑hoc inspections as required.
• Produce detailed reports, including isometrics or sketches, documenting inspection results.
• Maintain rope access equipment in compliance with company procedures.
• Ensure completion of mandatory training modules and adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality systems.
• Submit timesheets, IRATA hours, and checklists to the Rope Access Manager.
• Keep existing and potential clients informed about rope access service capabilities.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and periodic audits.
• Mentor and coach host‑country nationals and supervise trainee technicians during site work.

Required profile

• Angolan national.
• Rope Access Level 3 (IRATA) certification.
• Proven experience in non‑destructive testing of industrial equipment.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate rope access teams.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
