Completions Application Engineer

About the role

The Completions Application Engineer joins Baker Hughes' Completions and Wellbore Interventions team to deliver high‑quality services that optimize energy extraction and production. The role bridges client needs, technical execution, and post‑job analysis to ensure flawless project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and act as the liaison for planning, execution, and close‑out of well projects.
• Provide technical support for Baker Hughes completions tools and equipment.
• Assist the sales team with tender preparation and commercial term clarification.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery Coordinators to understand client objectives and contract types.
• Perform offset‑well and similar‑job analyses to identify hazards and incident potential.
• Design job programs, including risk mitigation and contingency plans, to meet client goals and maximize revenue.
• Document calculations, simulations, and plan revisions for audit and team visibility.
• Address field incidents, participate in investigations, and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Fluent English communication skills (intermediate proficiency acceptable).
• Availability for on‑call duties outside normal business hours.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in both on‑shore and off‑shore operations.
