About the role
The Information Technology Sales Manager drives revenue growth by building strong client relationships and uncovering new business opportunities within the enterprise software market. You will work closely with internal teams to set sales targets, negotiate deals, and ensure high‑quality delivery of products and services.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior sales leadership to define targets, forecasts and adapt strategies to meet budget goals.
- Conduct market research to identify prospective clients and create new partnership pipelines.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers through regular visits, updates and proactive engagement.
- Work with Vendor Account Managers throughout the sales cycle to build a robust pipeline.
- Visit clients to assess requirements, manage orders, oversee deliveries and resolve issues.
- Handle customer complaints, make decisions and report follow‑up actions.
- Negotiate pricing and payment terms within approved limits and report closed deals.
- Inform clients about product changes, new offerings and market trends.
- Update client accounts and databases, conduct competitor analysis and provide recommendations.
- Coordinate with internal departments for new product introductions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience selling enterprise software solutions such as IBM, SAP or Oracle.
