About the role
The Business Development Manager will support DHL’s growth in the China‑Angola corridor by creating and executing development plans that generate new business, increase market share and meet revenue targets. You will work independently, using market insights to identify opportunities and build lasting customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Administer business development plans to achieve customer growth, retention, and revenue goals.
- Identify and qualify new prospects, match their needs with DHL services, and pursue leads through visits, proposals and negotiations.
- Coordinate with inside sales, product management and other stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer feedback to refine strategies.
- Maintain accurate data flow on accounts, competitors and suppliers.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- More than 2 years of experience in business development, sales or account management.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision and handle complex problems.
- Strong communication skills to explain policies and practices to internal and external parties.
