QHSE Advisor – Angola

About the role

Expro is seeking a qualified QHSE Advisor to support safe, responsible and compliant operations in Angola. You will act as the focal point for all health, safety, environment and quality matters, helping managers implement and monitor HSEQ systems.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for HSEQ policies, standards and directives within the area of responsibility.
• Support managers to ensure consistent application of Expro HSEQ methods and identify local HSEQ requirements.
• Assist in creating and reviewing risk, manual handling and COSHH assessments and maintain the emergency response plan.
• Report, investigate and close accidents, near‑misses and non‑conformance reports (PIRs).
• Monitor HSEQ performance, prepare Etrak reports, KPIs and schedule inspections.
• Conduct or arrange HSEQ audits and regular site tours to identify hazardous conditions.
• Provide HSE and quality training, including inductions for new hires and contractors.
• Maintain HSEQ records and documentation in line with company policy.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in an HSEQ environment, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong understanding of HSEQ management systems, local HSE regulations and international standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
