Programme Development Coordinator

About the role

The Programme Development Coordinator will support World Vision Angola’s resource mobilisation and programme development efforts. Working closely with the Programme Development and Partnerships Lead, the role focuses on identifying funding opportunities, preparing proposals, and ensuring effective donor engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Update and analyse the donor landscape and opportunity pipeline, highlighting emerging trends for the PDPL.
• Support the implementation of World Vision’s Resource Mobilisation Plan, tracking actions and progress against targets.
• Develop concept notes, lead small‑scale proposal development, and assist with larger strategic proposals.
• Collaborate with Finance to produce quality budgets and negotiate cost‑recovery mechanisms.
• Coordinate resource acquisition processes, including Go/No‑Go decisions, target setting, pipeline management, and contract approvals.
• Explore local mobilisation opportunities such as individual giving and partnerships with churches, schools, and community organisations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of proposals, contracts, and donor engagements, and manage a repository of needs‑based concept notes.
• Track progress against mobilisation targets and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in donor pipeline management and proposal development within the nonprofit or humanitarian sector.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret funding trends and donor data.
• Excellent coordination skills to work across finance, programme, and senior leadership teams.
• Familiarity with World Vision processes and international resource mobilisation standards.
