Partnership, Communication & Reporting Consultant

About the role

The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a Partnership, Communication and Reporting Consultant to lead resource mobilisation and external communication efforts in Angola. Based in Luanda and reporting to the Country Director, the consultant will help expand the donor base, maintain strategic partnerships and support advocacy initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a work plan to identify, develop and strengthen partnerships aligned with WFP’s strategic objectives.
• Lead resource mobilisation activities, including donor outreach, profiling and trend analysis.
• Oversee the preparation of donor reports and external communication products for partners and public audiences.
• Support the Head of Office with day‑to‑day tasks and strategic communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical units to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of partner engagement across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership development, donor relations or external communications, preferably in a humanitarian or development context.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and trends for partnership strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high‑quality reports and advocacy materials.
• Capacity to work closely with senior management and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
