Offshore Supervisor – FPSO Projects (Oil & Gas)

About the role

Trident BMC is looking for an experienced Offshore Supervisor to lead piping and steel works on FPSO vessels operating off Angola. You will ensure that all construction and installation activities are performed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise offshore construction and installation activities onboard FPSO vessels.
• Oversee piping installation, modification, repair, and testing works.
• Coordinate daily work scopes with vessel management, contractors, and client representatives.
• Monitor progress, manpower, and quality, and conduct toolbox talks.
• Prepare daily progress reports and support project documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Offshore Supervisor in Oil & Gas or shipbuilding projects.
• Previous FPSO experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical P&ID and ISO documents and drawings.
• Good understanding of offshore safety standards and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Strong planning, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• English proficiency minimum B1 level and a valid Seaman’s Book.
