Mechanical Erection Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Erection Supervisor to lead the mechanical installation activities for a large‑scale water treatment plant in Angola. The role involves overseeing subcontractors, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with local project managers to keep the project on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors performing industrial mechanical assembly.
• Manage assembly contract packages and track progress against the project schedule.
• Monitor on‑site quality, including welding, assembly, and positioning of gantries.
• Verify that all mechanical assemblies comply with engineering plans and specifications.
• Coordinate daily with local project managers and other discipline leads.
• Oversee the operational performance of subcontractor teams and address any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical site supervision.
• Proven background in water‑treatment or oil & gas construction projects, covering engineering and procurement phases.
• Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is mandatory.
