Inventory Controller – Spare Parts (Industrial)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to oversee spare parts inventory for industrial machinery and equipment in Angola. The role involves ensuring optimal stock levels, accurate record‑keeping, and seamless coordination with maintenance and procurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain spare parts inventory for industrial machinery and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and trigger timely replenishment of critical items.
• Receive, inspect, store, and issue spare parts according to company procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/SAP or similar systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with maintenance, procurement, and operations regarding spare parts requirements.
• Identify critical, slow‑moving, and obsolete inventory items.
• Ensure proper storage, preservation, and handling of spare parts.
• Prepare inventory reports and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in spare parts inventory management.
• Background in industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, mining operations, or heavy‑equipment environments.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse operations.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/SAP or other inventory management systems.
• Mechanical or technical qualification preferred.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and reporting abilities.
• Good English communication skills.
