Early Careers Geologist

About the role

SLB is seeking an early‑career Geologist to join its Geoscience and Petrotechnical teams. You will combine earth‑science knowledge with the latest logging technologies to assess reservoir architecture and hydrocarbon potential, working both in the field and at learning centres.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the geoscience team to evaluate exploration prospects.
• Prepare surface and subsurface maps that illustrate stratigraphic arrangements.
• Generate structural models, including seismic interpretation, geological interpretation, rock‑property analysis, and time‑depth conversion.
• Create structural frameworks and perform facies modelling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Geology.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and adapt to varied working conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logging technologies.
• Experience in seismic interpretation.
• Facies modelling expertise.
• Structural modelling and geoscience software competence.
