About the role
Bosch SA (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead strategic sales growth in Angola. The role combines customer‑focused account management, market expansion, and the development of high‑performance sales teams.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement sales strategies, including new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior executives at key accounts (CEO/President level).
- Lead, mentor and empower direct and indirect sales teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
- Track, report and deliver on KPIs such as revenue growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate and confirm annual customer agreements and contracts.
- Drive revenue generation, pipeline management and key‑account development.
- Develop channel and distributor networks and support market intelligence and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Business Operations, Marketing, Product Management and Operations teams.
- Support localization and capability development for the Angolan market.
Required profile
- Degree in Sales, Engineering (mechanical/electric), Business Administration or a related field.
- 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably within automotive, power tools, hydraulics or other technical environments.
- Willingness to travel extensively (40‑60%).
- Fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken).
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing strategy, margin management, forecasting and contract negotiation.
- Customer‑focused mindset with deep understanding of decision‑making processes.
- Experience with Challenger Sales or similar customer‑engagement methodologies.
- Proven ability to train, coach and develop sales teams to high‑performance levels.
