Maintenance Planning & Materials Coordination – 6 Roles (Luanda)

About the role

Dietsmann is looking for six engineering professionals to join a resident team in Luanda, Angola, supporting offshore FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) operations. The team will be responsible for maintenance planning, operational readiness and material/spare‑parts coordination for rotating equipment, turbomachinery and auxiliary systems during a five‑month assignment that ends in early 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Review and detail maintenance plans and work orders in the client’s CMMS/ERP.
• Identify spare‑parts requirements, map materials and monitor readiness.
• Follow up purchase requisitions and purchase orders, coordinating procurement.
• Support logistics preparation and verify warehouse inventories.
• Prepare major maintenance campaigns for turbines, compressors and related equipment.
• Develop dashboards and reports on progress and operational readiness.
• Occasionally assist maintenance execution in coordination with client teams.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation or turbomachinery) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in industrial maintenance and/or maintenance planning, preferably in the oil & gas/offshore sector.
• Fluent English for an international working environment.
• For the Gas Turbine Specialist: minimum 5 years of experience on Baker Hughes or Solar‑type gas turbines.
• For the Compressor Specialist: demonstrated experience on compressors.
