Trust and Safety Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Trust and Safety Analyst to join our remote team and help protect the integrity of our online platform. The analyst will evaluate user‑generated content, investigate policy breaches, and respond to emerging threats such as fraud, harassment, and misinformation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth investigations of complex safety reports, including harassment, hate speech, misinformation, and illegal content.
• Apply and interpret internal policies with high accuracy and propose policy updates for emerging threats.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve detection tools and reduce harmful content at scale.
• Provide feedback to peers and automated systems to ensure consistent decision‑making.
• Analyze data to identify new abuse vectors (spam, scams, coordinated inauthentic behavior) and proactively escalate them.
• Handle sensitive user escalations in a trauma‑informed manner and act as the primary contact for high‑priority issues, law‑enforcement requests, and legal inquiries.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, or Intelligence Analysis within the tech/social‑media sector.
• Strong emotional intelligence and proven self‑care strategies for exposure to disturbing content.
• Fluent English with excellent written communication and the ability to explain complex policy decisions.
• Ability to make high‑stakes decisions quickly, often with incomplete information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Trust & Safety tools such as Salesforce and Jira.
• Experience with moderation dashboards and AI/automation workflows.
• Data analysis and visualization using Tableau, Looker, or basic SQL.
