Tailor – Full‑time On‑site Position in Luanda Province

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Tailor role is based in Luanda Province, Angola. You will work directly with clients and the atelier team to create, adjust, and finish garments that meet both client specifications and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Take accurate body measurements and conduct fittings.
• Cut, sew, assemble, and finish garments.
• Adjust patterns and perform alterations to achieve precise fits.
• Repair or modify clothing as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Handle fabrics and sewing tools safely.
• Collaborate with the atelier team to meet production timelines and quality expectations.

Required profile

• Strong tailoring and dressmaking skills, including garment construction and finishing.
• Proficiency in fitting techniques, measurement taking, and pattern adjustments.
• Effective communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work with various fabrics and sewing equipment.
• Previous experience in an atelier, fashion house, or tailoring shop (preferred).
• Ability to work on‑site in Luanda Province and manage time to meet deadlines.
• Basic numeracy for measurements and following design specifications.
